7/5-7/7 Cape May & Baltimore

So we spent the final opportunity we'll have for the beach this summer on Sunday with my parents, my sister Jenn and my brother-in-law Alex..

the same photo with feet in the sand:

the six of us (Samantha taking the photo) on Cape May's beach..

We packed up the car and we were off to Baltimore..

Along the way we encountered the Great Lakes of....

New Jersey (?)

And the great pastures of New Jersey..

And then a cornfield or two..

We finally arrived in Maryland..

And we arrived at the house where Dorothy Hamill used to live in Baltimore

Where Samantha's grandmother and her husband, Gayle Brier and Gerard Billebault now live

They own a bakery called Bonjour and they put together some nice foods for us for our trip.. here's some bread:

And then some various shots of Baltimore:
We're on a bus

Inner Harbor

Save your life
Fells Point, an awesome much-less-tourist-y neighborhood adjacent to the harbor:

Little Italy
This actually had M/W restrooms which I thought was awesome

And then we got some food with Samatha's aunt Raven

Where I had the portabella sandwich and a Flying Dog Wheat

We walked some more..

Before stopping in Leadbetter's for a drink

I told Samantha to pose in the garden-leading rape alley

And then we drank a six-dollar pitcher of margaritas at the Waterfront Hotel:
Last dinner in Baltimore, featuring Gerard's bread of deliciousness

I don't know what this is, but it looked cool

AND.. off to the Smoky Mountains.
